The following is a list of classes that are being offered as of Fall 2017. It is not intended to be comprehensive. Customizable classes are always an option.

Programming Power — If you have never written executable code, this class is for your. Programming combines syntax with higher-order logical thinking. Anyone who has learned English grammar (syntax) and Math (logical thinking) has the basic skill set to program. You will learn how to navigate switch statements, while loops and functions. The class may be taught in JavaScript (websites), Swift (iOS) or Python (general). All projects involve writing real programs.

iOS App Fundamentals  — Do you have a Mac? Do you love iPhones? Want to build an iPhone app? If you answered yes to all three, this course is for you. You will learn the quirky iOS system while practicing programming fundamentals like if-else statements, for loops and methods. After cloning some basic apps, you will design a few of your own. If you need to learn it for the app, we will find a way.

Mathematical Proofs - How can you be certain if something is true? Mathematical proof is the gold standard in the world of math and science. All mathematical theorems that have been proven have stood the test of time. We will learn various axiomatic systems including Group Theory and Field Theory. You will learn how to write mathematical proofs while learning some of the great theorems throughout the history of math.

Infinite Sets - What is infinity? When you think you know the answer, you realize that you don't. Georg Cantor prove that the real numbers are infinitely more dense than the rationals, and that there are an infinity of infinities. You will learn Set Theory and mapping arguments to resolve questions about infinity that do not have obvious answers. Are there more whole numbers or even numbers? More rationals than integers? Does the power set of an infinite set always exceed the original set?
